[Which she’ll see the birds pecking at. Really..why does he bother going all the way here if he won’t stay a little?

And why is it that the only food he’ll actually request for are alm finch dishes?

It would be easy enough to just stop this. But a little part of her had to admit she was having fun.

She goes back to leave some roast chicken, but once again the bag of seeds were there too. Along with a little someone pecking at the open bag.]

So you’ve got some company.

[It was the one that was always burying itself in his hair.]

[ The next day, there's the same bag of seeds with the little finch still pecking at it but this time its inside her temple, along with a 20lb bag of bird seeds. Set across the bench he frequented a dozen new bird feeders lay in a line. ]

[The returned finch catches her attention first, but she does take notice of where he places it.]

So he finally came inside.

But geez, you had one job, didn’t you?

[While it was certainly fond of Mikoto, it was fonder of bird seeds.

[Her next instinct of course was to check the bench. Maybe he was actually back this time—]

[Instead she found the large bag of bird seed and the line of feeders which the finches were already curiously pecking at.]

....Where am I supposed to put those?!

How’re you two getting along?

[She leaves him mushroom burger today.]

I know you said you weren’t interested, but there might be some good food at the party later if you wanted to pass by for that.

[She didn’t think you’d need to dress up for that at least.]

[ instead of an answer, he leaves another finch recipe on top of the note. If she looks around she won't find the finch around. Why? Mikoto has taken it to the park where he plans to set it free. ]

[Too bad Mikoto, because it's just going to stay on you. Or fly away only to fly back and perch in your hair. Possibly with a stick to make her nest more comfy.]

[After almost a week of not doing so, Alex leaves another container of food on his counter with a note.]

[It's another couple of days till her next drop off. There's no note this time, not really sure what to write down, but there is a container of curry on the counter. Though it might be sweeter than expected since she accidentally mixed in sugar instead of salt.]
